What to do- Talk to a kid

Haven’t we all heard at least once that we should connect with our inner child? Sometimes that is hard to do. The best solution would be to connect with someone who IS a child.

Children have a very optimistic view of life. They don’t see as many dangers and risks that we adults do. Their creativity and imagination is unleashed. They speak their mind. They’re less fearful than many grownups.

If you are in want or need of a creative idea or solution and still haven’t been able to come up with anything good, it’s time to pay a visit to your closest kid (son, daughter, niece, nephew, godson, goddaughter). Give them some crayons and sheets of paper and ask them to do a drawing of something you may need. For example, let’s say you make robots; ask your little one to make a drawing of a dope robot and use that as inspiration.

It is known in the business world that if you can’t get a 5-year old to understand what your business is about, you do not understand it yourself. So, tell a kid about what you do, and if he/she understands it…boy, you’re gold! And, if the kid doesn’t understand it, get back to work and define your business.

Last but not least, you will certainly gain a rush of motivation. Seeing the excitement in their little faces of being helpful to you in a way will make you do your absolute best at everything you do so they can have an amazing life growing up.
