I just moved to a new apartment complex with lots of cool amenities and I thought, “Hey, might as well try some of them”. So, I decided to get out of my comfort zone and try and get comfortable and I booked a massage.
I was expecting it to be just a very peaceful kind of activity, but I got a tad alarmed because the masseuse told me I had some muscular contractions due to moving out of my previous apartment, moving the company into a new office, and just the regular work-related stress. Oh, and doing Crossfit every morning. Basically, my back and my peace were f*cked up. So, the masseuse took matters into her own hands (literally) and worked to treat all my contractions. She couldn’t get rid of all of them, so I had to come back again on Saturday…I know, poor me.
While talking to her, she mentioned that most of her clients are CEOs and they state that getting a massage not only is good for relaxing but it also helps them stay focused and make better decisions. They recommend getting 1-2 massages a month along with yoga and meditation to stay sharp and healthy.
In conclusion, I realized that getting massages is not really a fancy whim, but a great tool for entrepreneurs or wantpreneurs around the world who are trying to make a difference in the world.
